Four Seasons Hawaii

Kauai, Hawaii Valley
People that have traveled to Hawaii can vouch for the fact that it is an alluring destination, and anyone that has yet to set foot on this island chain are usually just waiting for the chance to go.  Hawaii is a dream vacation for many, and it's stunning landscape along with near perfect weather and friendly locals are all reasons people are drawn to this site.  If you are planning your first trip or a return trip, here are a few of the truly spectacular scenic spots on the magical islands of Hawaii.

Four Seasons Hualalai, Kona
If the Big Island is your destination of choice, there are quite a few sites to see, as well as some of the Best Hotels in Hawaii.  One of the top choices is Four Seasons Hualalai, Kona.  Located in historic Ka'upulehu, this Four Seasons is a natural paradise.  Noted as a luxurious resort with a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, this Four Seasons is a spectacular site in itself.  However the Big Island has more to offer.  While here visit the Waipio Valley Overlook to see black cliffs and wide green valleys, or trek up the 14,000 foot summit on Mauna Kea at sunset for a view of the sun dipping into the Pacific as well as the lights of the island.  These are both guaranteed to be experiences you won't soon forget.

Kauai Marriott Resort
Our next island is Kauai, the home of the Waimia Canyon.  This canyon's beauty rivals the Grand Canyon and here you can see the volcanic soil that is rust colored nestled next to the lush green growth, as well as thin waterfalls that plummet thousands of feet into fresh streams.  If you're in the mood for a drive, go as far as you can toward the North Shore and come upon Kee Beach.  Here you get to see the white sand beaches as well as a glimpse of the remarkable cliffs of Bali Hai.  If you think this island and all of its earthly splendor is more your style, check out the Kauai Marriott Resort.  This resort has created an oasis that utilizes the astounding beauty of the island of Kauai as a backdrop.  Everywhere you look you will find breathtaking views and unprecedented radiance.  Stay on Kauai at the Kauai Marriott Resort and there is a chance you might become a bit overwhelmed by all of the raw beauty that envelops the resort.

Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay
Four Seasons Lanai, Lodge at Koele
A lessor known island is the island of Lanai.  Even though it's not as popular as its sister islands, its landscape is extraordinary.  While here you should visit what is know as the Garden of the Gods.  This copper colored garden features large stones that where thrown from the ancient volcano's mouth and create a mesmerizing sculpture.  Rent a four-wheel-drive vehicle and speed through the area for a jolt of adrenaline, but check in at one of the regal Four Seasons on the island for some laid back relaxation.  Both the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Lodge at Koele are outstanding resorts, each with their own personality.  Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay borders a marine preserve that is perched on the rugged red cliffs overlooking the white sand beaches.  The views are striking and the resorts golf course will prove to be challenging, but Four Seasons has created a retreat with every required necessity.  The Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Lodge at Koele is a hide-away resort with the feel of a country garden estate.  The golf, gardens and rolling grassy hills are all a part of the charm found at the lodge as well as fantastic views of the ocean.  If you decide to stay on Lanai, whichever Four Seasons Resort you choose you are sure to be pleased.

Grand Wailea Maui
Maui is our next island and proves to be a very popular choice for travelers.  Maui is home to black sand beaches, the Road to Hana and the summit of Haleakala volcano.  The Road to Hana promises spectacular views that showoff numerous waterfalls as well as the marveled black sand.  The Haleakala volcano is awe-inspiring any time of day, but perhaps more so at sunset.  When planning to stay on Maui, your choices of Best Hotels are impressive.  Book your room or suite at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea and find dazzling views of the Pacific as well as modern conveniences and impeccable service.  Another gorgeous possibility is the Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort.  You can create the trip of a lifetime at this 40 acre resort situated next to the pristine beach.  Maui will prove to be an outstanding location for an exceptional trip.

Trump International Waikiki Beach
At last we travel to Oahu, the picturesque island that is home to the capital of Honolulu.  A scenic site here that just shouldn't be missed is Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, where you can see the encompassing views of the Ko'oalu mountains and the Kaneohe Bay.  Another enticing site is near Diamondhead, where at sunset the skies glow a magenta hue that seams almost unreal, as the sun sets against the blue waters of the Pacific.  Oahu is also home to some marvelous resorts, including the Trump International Waikiki Beach.  This resort is one of the first hotels on Oahu that is considered ultra-luxury and here you can find vibrant entertainment, chic boutiques and restaurants that are world-renowned.  The 38 story hotel offers views of the entire island of Oahu including the Honolulu skyline, the beautiful parks, white beaches and the beckoning ocean.  Oahu is the energetic island with the hustle and bustle of a big city meshed with the tranquility of island life.

Four Seasons Maui at Wailea
The Hawaiian Islands absolutely have similar qualities and traditions, however each location has its very own character and identity.  Find the island that best fits your expectations and WhatAHotel! will find you the Best Hotel for you and your travel companions.  But remember, just because you choose to stay on one island during your time in Hawaii does not mean that you can't island hop.  Taking some time to visit the other islands and seeing all of the natural beauty that surrounds you will more than likely make this trip one to remember.  Select the perfect resort and then head out for a bit of adventure, Hawaii is ready to take you on the tour of a lifetime.
