The Eiffel Tower is a must see regardless of age.  This architectural wonder impresses with its beauty and if your group can handle the long lines, a trip to the top will give tourists a remarkable view of the gorgeous city below.  Going during the day is great, but a trip at night will leave you breathless.  Lit up with over 20,000 lights, it shines bright for five minutes on the hour at night.  Another landmark to venture toward is the Arc de Triomphe.  Free to anyone under the age of 18, the Arc is a great location to view the city layout.  It is the location where all of the 12 main avenues in Paris converge, this meeting point looks like a star from above and the view is stunning.

Pompidou Centre's Musee National d'Art Moderne
Paris is filled with Museums.  Although some kids won't think a trip to the museum as exciting and the cost for large families can be a deterrent.  But the state owned establishments offer free admission for children under 18.  With over 16 city owned museums, your selection is inspiring.  Musee Carnavalet is home to really cool artifacts like canoes, Napoleon's cradle and some royal toys.  Musee d'Orsay is known for impressionist and Post-Impressionist collections.  The colors are bright and bold so they will easily catch and hold a child's attention.  The Pompidou Centre's Musee National d'Art Moderne even has a children's gallery  and outside there is a gathering of musicians, mimes, fire-eaters that will entertain before you even enter the museum.  Who knew such locations could be so exciting.

Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant
Parks and Castle are also prevalent in Paris.  The many parks throughout the city are manicured and often considered works of art of the landscape variety.  Some have pretty pools where kids can dip their toes into the cool waters and some even have play equipment.  The Castles you find in Paris will easily grab the attention of all ages.  Kids love to look at the massive buildings that house suits of armor, royal jewels and some even have treasure hunts.  Parents love the gorgeous decor and the stories that accompany them.  24 miles east of the city you can even step foot into Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant, Sleeping Beauty's Castle.  This is a Disney facility, so you are assured that the kids will absolutely love this destination.

Paris is the city of lights, and is famous for posh boutiques, robust wines and loads of culture.  But it is also a locale where kids can get their fill of fun and entertainment.  WhatAHotel! also offers great hotels that will capture the hearts of both the young and not so young.  Let us help you find the perfect hotel that will be sure to offer parents a relaxing and luxurious place to stay, but will still entertain the young.  Paris, France may not seem like a place for families, but it is ready and waiting to welcome tourists of all ages.
